Periodical assessments done every six months to assess the impact of the rains on food and nutrition security. Usually this is conducted after the long rains of March, April, May (MAM)also known as Long Rain Assessments (LRA) in the month of July. The other assessments is conducted after the short rains of October, November and December (OND), this is also called Short Rain Assessment (SRA) in the month of January / February.
